Welcome to the 100 Acre Woods!
There is nothing quite as special as celebrating a new arrival with a classic, nostalgic theme. This Winnie the Pooh baby shower brought the magic of A.A. Milne’s stories to life with a color palette of sage green, dusty blue, and soft honey yellow. The result was a whimsical, woodland paradise that felt both cozy and elevated.
🍯 Whimsical Decor & Details
The venue was transformed into a serene forest escape. Here are a few standout details that stole the show:
- The “Hunny” Tree: We created a free-standing tree in the center of the room using cardboard and brown paper, complete with hanging balloon “honeycombs” and little buzzing bees.
- Storybook Backdrops: A lush greenery wall featured a vintage Winnie the Pooh storybook backdrop, making it the perfect photo-op station.
- Table Centerpieces: Each table featured small wooden crates filled with baby’s breath, daisies, and adorable mini beehives.
🥪 The Grazing Table
No Pooh party is complete without a trip to the pantry! We put together a “Sweet as Honey” grazing table that was both charming and delicious:
- Tigger Tails: Pretzel rods dipped in orange melting chocolate and striped with dark chocolate.
- Honey Bee Cupcakes: cupcakes with honey bees decorating the top.
- “Hunny” Pots: Individual glass jars filled with local honey and tied with rustic twine.
- Classic Comforts: Mini sliders, fried chicken, and a beautiful charcuterie board with cheeses and fruit.

We kept the mood light and sweet with some casual, low-pressure activities:
